Security of Payment legislation in the three Australian Eastern States provides building and construction industry participants with a quick, cheap means of getting paid.

Governments have created additional rights for contractors, sub-contractors and others to help achieve prompt and on-time payment.

Strict statutory time frames for the payment of debts and a fast and efficient form of dispute resolution called “adjudication” has been introduced in order to resolve payment disputes.

Our web-site is an invaluable tool for industry participants to either prepare or respond to claims under the respective Acts.

Adjudicate Today Annotated Service of the Act

Under security of payment legislation, governments have appointed Adjudicate Today to assist industry participants understand how the Acts operate and claim the protections and benefits provided by the Acts. We are also responsible for managing the dispute resolution (adjudication) process and training and appointing the judges (adjudicators).

Under the Acts, we are called an Authorised Nominating Authority (ANA). Adjudicate Today's quality of service has been recognised by industry participants through their actions. More adjudication applications are referred to Adjudicate Today than any other ANA either in Australia or, we understand, anywhere in the world.

Please use www.adjudicate.com.au as a tool in your business. In addition, our professional and courteous staff are always available to answer queries and assist with understanding the Acts.

* Adjudicate Today neither charges a fee to commence an application nor to answer queries or assist in understanding the Acts. We deduct a service fee from the fee paid to the adjudicator after the decision has been completed. Generally, when the claimant has demonstrated an entitlement for payment, all fees are fully recoverable from the respondent.

Adjudicate Today publishes an annotated service of the NSW and Queensland Acts. This is THE major resource to the principles of court decisions and actual copies of the decisions. Adjudicators may refer to this resource.

The annotated service is ideal for lawyers and other professionals who prepare and/or defend applications or are involved in matters before courts. It is particularly relevant for high value and complex applications.
